I also don't want to be a Feminist.

I don't want to be a Feminist.

55 WORDS FICTION

I don’t care about being equal to men …me wants to live my life peacefully… doing my own thing.

You're working?

Love my job.

Have kids?

Planned later.

Can you make chappaties?

We’ve always had a maid for that!

What will you do if your husband was violent?

You think I’d marry someone that kind?!!!

A literary work will be considered 55 Fiction if it has:

Fifty-five words or less (A non-negotiable rule)

A setting, One or more characters, Some conflict, and A resolution.

(Not limited to moral of the story)

Work builds character. Educated Indians love to imitate western lifestyle but not their work ethics. Getting maids to do the work and spending hours addicted to the internet is a sure recipe for a depressed life.

Indian Home Maker said...

Jay
No doubt work builds character.

No doubt both educated (and uneducated also) Indians, women and men, love to imitate western lifestyles, so much that now that, for some, this has become our own life style.

Getting maids to do the work can lead to depression? How? I think it gives the homemaker (generally a woman) extra time to go to the gym or to spend with family and friends. Or to shop, or to listen to music or to buy and try lipsticks and to discuss politics with friends and enemies. To laugh with her kids. To take pictures... how would it be depressing? Whoever you are you have no idea what a blessing domestic helpers are.
If you are unmarried you better tell your future wife you think "Getting maids to do the work ....is a sure recipe for a depressed life."

Or being addicted to the internet can lead to a depressed life?
This I have to admit, all addictions can be maybe not depressing but definitely unhealthy - internet addiction might cause back problem, carpal tunnel syndrome etc but why would it be a recipe for a depressed life.
