Guess what's she trying to say?

She calls to say, "We are giving him up for adoption."

Next week.
"I say such stuff when I am upset, I can never even consider that, he can't even sleep without some part of him touching me."

"He cried all night, only stopped crying when I sat with him in my lap."
(I warned, "Don't do something you can't continue doing, this can become a habit!" She didn't listen.)

"IHM I really was against it. I knew I didn't have the patience required ...!"(crib, crib, blah, blah)

She calls again,
"IHM he has so much energy, I am so tired, I take him to play in the park, I do everything so he will get tired and sleep for sometime ..."

And then again,
"...but today my mom in law saw how he placed his hands on the kitchen sink to peep inside ... he is only fascinated by the noise of running water - but she thinks it's unhygienic. ...but he looks so cute when he stands like this, he is just a baby you know, she doesn't understand ...
"

"You won't believe how he hates the visits to the doctor, he hides his face in my shoulder, why can't we have painless injections?"

"IHM I end up doing everything for him. Nobody helps me."

"He is smart you know, his vocabulary is amazing ..!"

"We were out all day, couldn't take him, and he was so upset, he missed us, specially me and he clung to me all night... "

"My husband is the reason why he is so spoiled! He is so inconsistent. One day he is angry for the same thing, next day it becomes so cute ... And then he says I am the one who spoils him!"

"I am not the emo-types ."

"If I have another one, I know he will be very well brought up. I have learnt so much while raising this one!" This was yesterday :)

What do you think of her?
Guess ...??

seems to be a woman who is trying to raise a dog singlehandedly :D.(going by her statements)...and is very prone to mood swings
and apparently has not time for herself..(or would rather not have time):D coz she loves her 'baby' too much:))
seems to be really emotional when it comes to her 'baby' and darn possessive of her dog

cant help but feel that shes talking bout her dog:D
my question is the same as Solilo's :))

Indyeah said...

PS:-all the above statements apply to ma and dad :D when it comes to their 'baby' errr...besides the three of us that is..:D

and ah well the baby here does try to venture into the kitchen when no one's looking:D
also is seen frequently eyeing the plates of eatables:D
and err..the ears perk up on hearing any crinkle of paper(even if its a plain newspaper or polybag) in the house...comes like a rocket, she does...:D

A typical mom of a pup?

DeeplyDip said...

i am so sure this is a dog...and the lady sounds just like my mom!! she would threaten me everyday that when i return from school the dog would be gone...she will give her away...but she was the one closest to her too...even our dog was the first pet for our family so we didn't really know how to 'train' her well...but she was full of energy, very social and loving and she also cried in the nights initially when we got her(maybe remembered her mom?)....awww....i miss her!!

You've got us - as usual...We're planning to get a dog real soon and I hope I don't end up sounding this way ;)

I'd go with a dog too....but, when I was a child, I knew a family that had a monkey as a pet for a while...a lot of what this mysterious 'baby' does makes me think it could be a monkey.

Well.. I guess it can be a adolescent cat/dog! :)

Look like a A mommy who loves her dog/cat, please don't, please don't laugh, sticking your head in a window is not safe for human kids.

How do we know said...

Its a mother. Period. The others have guessed a dog, perhaps rightly.. but then the vocab thing would not come, right? I think its a boy, and this is a typical mother.

Ooooh! Poor little Mom - the baby is definitely a pet. First time Momma to a baby pet. Growing up is so painful hai na? Loves the 'baby" to bits but overwhelmed with the responsibility

LOL, I happened to have a glance at the comments (by mistake) before even reading the post. suspense lost, but it was a good read.

Btw, Dont tell me they call you IHM at home too !!! :D

been peeking in since morning and still no answer to our dilemna!

*glares*
we want the answer!we want the answer!
come on ppl take up the chant!:D

LOL@vimmuu's comment:D

Indyeah said...

okay all dog -less people:D
(you dont know what you are missing trust me):D
little babies as IHM calls them do have a vocab:)
and its a pretty exhaustive vocab at that

from 'I dont like this khaana' to 'I want that khaana' to 'open the cupboard will you?'
,'please play with me','I am sorry',dont irritate me',wanna be my friend'?

these are just a few examples of their vocab;)

now tell me dont you want one?:))
go get one for yourself:)
any four legged creature or even a feathered friend will do(though I think feathered friends are against the law or something)

IHM after that explanation it better be a dog:P

oh Man! I almost had to recall all my conversations with all my friends to figure out if I come across as that. baby or Dog to sochne ka time hi nahi mila, I was just introspecting and convincing myself that I don't whine that much!
BTW thanks for the tag. Loved doing it. Will post it tonight.

This has turned into a suspense novel :) LOL, but specially the vocab's bit, but but if you like your pet they can have vocab... Ahhhhh the suspense is killing me.

Usha Pisharody said...

The mom is me, and the baby is my "kuttan" [meaning little one, in Mal. :)], my two year old "naadan" [meaning "country" lol... mongrel] dog, who I helped to deliver, LOLzzz, and who is with us till this day :) :)

No, this is not the "raaz".. just my interpretation of interesting snippets of outpouring of that mother. It certainly is like this, ALWAYS!

@Indyeah, the vocab. outlining is great.. there is all of that, plus another which goes, *grrrrr* to the other male of the lot in the house, which says, Mom is mine, you keep off.. :D! And the "Whine whine whine.. bark bark bark* at 530 in the morning, when the alarm rings which says, get up please please...? to GET RIGHT UP, OR ELSE...!!!

@IHM, the kitchen sink part is too cute, and so very very true, for my little one!

Glad to be writing a bit here, after an age :)
