Bad days at the Gym :(

Some members in the Gym want the music to blare, others, like me, prefer it a little softer. Tried to use an IPod, the music is so loud, all you can hear is a cacophonic remix...the feel good feeling that the gym always left me with seems to disappear in all this chaotic racket.

Despite the thundering racket that passes off as music in the Gym, I just love the time spent there. When I stand akimbo and unexpectedly feel a firmer, toned back, I thank the day I joined this Gym.
No more lack of energy, no more lower back pain....no more the unhappy feeling that old age was creeping up on me. For anybody who is undecided about joining a Gym, go ahead and join it!! You live once, live healthy. LIVE. I spend hours on the Computer, live the most sedentery life imaginable, then go to the gym sweat the guilt out of a tired lower back.

I love my gym. Its like an escape. Mine offers daycare for 2 hours per child for only $15 per month. So I drag all my kids there, they go to the daycare which is a huge room filled with Dance Dance Revolution, a basketball hoop thing, a indoor climbing structure thing, xbox 360(!!) and toys everywhere. I workout, listen to my ipod, shower and then go get the kids. I love it!

I too love my gym time. haven't gone for a while, some commitments at home and all..but will start going again now. Yes, I too feel it's like an escape, I come back feeling refreshed, it's my own time. And knowing your kids are right there and happily engaged is so, so good:)

Same here! "...I spend hours on the Computer, live the most sedentary life imaginable!" :P I manage to go for walks and do a bit of yoga in the mornings. Moved house recently and too far from the gym! :-(

Yes,not absolutely regularly, but I do go. Yeah, this was a rant, I was very upset because the blaring music actually hurt my ears :( I don't mind loud music, this was BLARING, I think some times loud music can damage your ears so much that you can only hear very loud sounds ... some gymmers are like that.
